So right now I am watching the one and only Spike Lee movie, Crooklyn. I have concluded that the one reason why I enjoy this movie so much is because it allows me to reminisce over the times when I was a child. Childhood is an inevitable point in a person's life where they learn about values, the beauty of being content with life, knowing the importance of happiness and an enjoyable life. My personal childhood was phenomenal! I experienced every type of childhood experience known to man! Here are a few activities that i participated in: double dutch, sledding, T-ball, football, kickball, hop scotch, four square, hide-and-go-seek, freeze tag, playing house, arguing over who's going to be disher, playing with barbies, ice-skating, Disney world, AND THE LIST GOES ON!
Children now are caught up with the whole play station situation and are being deprived of a true enjoyable childhood. I have vowed to myself that my children will play out side and be heavily involved in children activities!
